I stand by the window, watching little figurines below me run about, busing themselves.
I reach for the cold surface, shivering as chills pass through me.
How long has it been?
I stare into the eyes of the girl before me. I tip my head sideways, and she mimics my action.
I wonder.
Is this really what you want?
She does not answer.
I close my eyes, leaning my head against the window.
Did I really sink that deep?

A beam of moonlight falls upon me.
I blink. I blink again, realizing it is not a dream.
The figure before me glows silver, radiating a serene aura.
For a moment, she nods at me, as if saying,
It’s never too late.
She smiles, fading into the twilight sky.
It’s never too late to start over.
It takes a lot of courage for an individual to take on the responsibilities of their own actions, especially if it includes harming others at some point in time. This script serves as the self redemption of a character after she realizes the consequences her actions brought. Her reflection “tells” her that as long as she realizes her actions, it’s never too late to start over.
